DS4WINDOWS SCPDRIVER.LOG INSTALL
Using DS4Windows by J2K to install the drivers (simply gives me the "install drivers" screen again)
DS4WINDOWS SCPDRIVER.LOG DRIVER
The alternative method of uninstalling ds4windows if you don’t want to download the virtual Driver is to delete all the DS4 window files from your hard drive. Uninstalling and Force Installing with SCPDriver Fi圆: Uninstall ds4windows without Driver.

I've been searching for hours trying to find a solution for this but I can't find one. After discovering I actually need the virtual bus drivers I went to install them again, and it would not install the bus drivers, only ever the bus device. I uninstalled SCPDrivers because I thought that that would clean the slate, and that Witcher 3 would work with the controller because of its native DS4 support. Not sure what version of DS4Windows I have. I am determining which controller is in which slot using Joy2Key. If I set 'Use Xinput Ports 3-6' or 'Use Xinput Ports 1-4', DS4Windows no longer steals slot 1. Shortly after, I went to play The Witcher 3 and it does not detect my controller. Unchecking it does not prevent DS4Windows from stealing slot 1. I ended up only getting the DS4 controller to work and my brother used the keyboard. Click 'Bluetooth.' Select the DualShock 4 controller from the list that pops up.

I tried everything I could think of to accomplish this but mucked everything up in the process, so I just uninstalled everything and tried with a clean slate, using SCPMonitor and Zadig. Today, I tried to connect one DS3 and one DS4 controller so I could play split screen with my brother. After disabling DS4 I wasn't able to open my inventory by pressing the Options button on my DS4 controller (another issue you could help me fix, if you want :D), but I just dealt with that one. After looking into this issue, I found that the game has native DS4 support, so I stopped DS4 and haven't really used it since. I had to go to my keyboard and press E every time I wanted to dismount my horse. I wasn't able to dismount my horse by holding the circle button. The one time I tried the new one in my old box a few years back it tried to auto-update the next day & flagged all my protection warez as it being malware, been sticking with the olde version since, it works & without any sneaky nonsense. Been using DS4 Windows for a while until I started playing The Witcher 3 again, and started having issues with it. v1.4.52 is the olde Jays2Kings version of DS4Windows & runs fine on my WIN10 rig. Turns out MRB is one of a short list of PC games that natively supports DS4 input and because I was running DS4Windows with 'Hide DS4' checkbox ticked, the game was reading both Xinput and DS4 Input from the one controller somehow.
